After arriving Leeds for 9 days, I am more comfortable with the new life here..
In the beginning, it's not easy.
-The weather is cold that hurt my skin.
-I don't know where I am, even Leeds is not that big
-Everything is so expensive but I still can't get my money
to be transfered from Taiwan
-The location of the flat seems to be not great for the security,
and I have only very simply lock/key on my door
However, I believe, everything will be getting better and better
-Lees Metropolitan University has beautiful campus in Headingley
-Lots of welcome events for international students, like we had free
trip to York last Sat.
-I am arriving in big sales season, so I bought some more clothes, less
than 4 pound each(around NT250)
-My UK customer invited Allen and I to have dinner in his house, very nice
and relaxing
-I started my first course today. And I think it's very interesting to meet
students worldwide. Although there will be lots of reading and homeworks soon.
-I started my part-time job in my customer's office. If if's I work harder, I can
earn similiar saralay like I have in Taiwn. Isn't it great that I can support myself
to do more outlet shopping, haha~~
Anyway, this is just a start, and hope I will be in love with UK soon ~
