During this trip, I got the chance to visit 4 Metro systems in S.Europe and Moscow
- Milian, Italy
It takes 1 Euro for a single trip (less than 75mins) Same ticket for Metro and Tram.
However, it was not so clear inside the metro.
- Barcelona, Spain
It takes 1.4 Euro for a single trip, but I think it's really worthy as it's the most clean and modem
style among the systems I visited.
- Lisbon, Portugal
It takes only 0.85 Euro for a single trip, and you could re-use the ticket with RFID tag tecnology.
But the system is quiet old..
- Moscow, Russia
It takes 20 RUB for a single trip. The exchange rate to NT dollar is almost 1:1 so you could simply
spend the money like in Taiwan there. The system is about 75 years old already. It was very difficult
to travel by Metro for foreginers as the Russian station name is hard to remember and when it's
translated into English, none of the local people can understand ! It's very possible that you can get lost
in the underground and no English-speaker can help you !! But actually...by making this commend, I found
our metro system in Taipei is having exactly same problem ! We tranlate the station name in English, but
by the pronuciation ^^" ~
