Phone calls-
Making a phone call to tell PaPa that I have received the money from Taiwan; A-ma that I'm fine there;then Erica !! I think i will need to top-up my mobile phone soon after the conversation, but I'm really to talk with family and friends in Taiwan... miss everyone so much
**it will cost me around NT5.2 / per min to call telephone no. in Taiwan; NT 9.75 for mobile phone no. in Taiwan or any phone call in uk.
Money-
I felt upset with stupid process here that I still can't get internet work in my flat. But today, i tried my first prochurse via the debit card and issued a check to my property agent for rent. Great, the money issue is cleared. The next step will be to get the internet work in my flat !
Shopping-
I really have to control myself to go shopping ! Leeds is a small city like Taipei with centralized shopping streets that you have Zara, H&M, and LV ~ Most of the shops still have many items for final clearence. I bought lots some clothes which is less then 3 pounds(NT195)-10pounds(NT650) / per unit. I also bought a jean for 6 pounds(NT390) yesterday...The price is really too aggressive that I can't stop myself, but I have learned to control that I have no income now, so I really have to pick up what I must have, but what I like to have..
Friends-
If I meet someone from Taiwan in the future, I will take good care of them for sure, because we are coming from same country ! PROMISE !
Food-
Its quiet expensive here in Leeds, UK. Coming here for two weeks, I never eat in the resturent. A BurgerKing meal is about 4-5 pounds,which means around NT260-325...sooooooo Expensive.. Allen cooks.What do we have? Very simple food for beef, pork, chicken, rice, noodles... Today, we simply fried the steak and steamed some vagetable as side dish. big meal for two of use only costed us about 3 pounds
